Think about the use of height in your stand design. The UK standard is normally up to 4m (before contractual drawing are required). Building high will allow grater graphic impact, without having to pay more for the floor space.

The use of light including back lit panels, flood lighting, up and down lighters are extremely important in the exhibition stand design.

The use of bridges can be effective for creating entrance ways or dividing a stand in two.

Think about the use of raised flooring or even under lit flooring for extra impact

The use of large curves and asymmetrical shapes can draw the eye to the stand, whilst the use of symmetrical features will give a more systematical balanced feel.

Try and avoid reams of text, don’t cram your images together, less is more when it comes to graphic design, and be as bright and bold as possible.

Think about the use of colour and the moods that different textures can have on peoples perception. White is pure, red is confident and appealing, blue is calming and appealing. Call one of our graphic designers for more ideas or inspiration.

Remember to use as many of your human senses as possible in your exhibition stand design.
